Registration Processes for the Candidates Accepted through transfer (According to Cumulative)

The candidates who are newly accepted for the 2024-2025 Fall Semester to the METU through transfer (according to cumulative and Additional Article 1) must submit the following documents to the Registrar's Office Directorate of Preparation School and Applications Office by hand between 05 - 06 September 2024 by 17:00.

a) Required documents and procedures for candidates accepted within METU; 

Required Documents

• Final registration  form (https://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/forms)

Procedures must be done after submitting the Final Registration Form

• The pre-registration processes of the candidates who submit the Final Registration Form will be carried out by the Registrar's Office at September 9, 2024.
• Visit http://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/student-id-cards to get detailed information about ID card processes and apply for a new ID card over https://cardinfo.metu.edu.tr by selecting the Transfer option. The old ID card will become passive and lose its validity.
• Visit https://student.metu.edu.tr/ for interactive registration and advisor approvals which will be held on 25 - 27 September 2024.

b) For candidates who are admitted from outside METU and METU Northern Cyprus Campus

Required Documents

• Final registration  form (https://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/forms)
• "There is no obstacle to transfer" certificate approved by the university of the students admitted (for the one who did not submit it in the application process)
• High School Diploma and Equivalency Certificate (The original high school diplomas of candidates who completed their high school education in abroad or in embassy schools in Turkey will be evaluated by the Registrar's Office. Candidates who are required to obtain an equivalency certificate in accordance with the relevant MoNE regulation will be asked to submit an equivalency certificate).

• The pre-registration processes of the candidates who submit the Final Registration Form will be carried out by the Registrar's Office between September 9 - 11, 2024.
• Visit https://useraccount.metu.edu.tr/newstudent/ to take the user code and password 
• Visit http://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/student-id-cards to get detailed information about ID card processes and apply for a new ID card over https://cardinfo.metu.edu.tr
• Visit https://student.metu.edu.tr/ for interactive registration and advisor approvals which will be held on 25 - 27 September 2024. International students must pay tuition fees before interactive registrations. Please visit http://oidb.metu.edu.tr/en/tuition-fee-amounts to get detailed information.
