Dear Students,
You have successfully completed an intensive and rewarding academic period. We wish you a peaceful, enjoyable, and well-deserved summer break.
Summer offers not only a chance to rest, but also an opportunity to explore, observe, and develop new ideas. Some of the most creative ideas emerge while walking through a city, visiting a new place, spending time in a park, or simply noticing the extraordinary within everyday life.
We are also pleased to share an exciting announcement with you. As part of METU's 70th Anniversary celebrations, we will be organizing the "Sustainable Environment" Public Service Announcement (PSA) Competition for METU undergraduate students during the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
Throughout the summer, look at your surroundings with fresh eyes, capture the ideas that inspire you, and, if you wish, start forming your team. A short video, a compelling message, and a creative concept can make a meaningful contribution to a more sustainable future.
